Kate Atwell is a sophomore at The College of Wooster who received grant money from her school to work with the Hands for Peacemaking Foundation during the summer of 2018. She will spend two months conducting research with villagers in order to understand what are the further needs communities would like HFPF to meet, and assist with other activities in Barillas. She will also join the two work groups visiting in July to help install 190 clean air stoves.
